Mrs Trent — Character Sketch — Week 2

A school teacher from Putney, she is known throughout the school by the other teachers as a perfectionist. Her outfits are always clean and smart with no creases and her hair do set for any weather. She has never told anyone but she models herself on Mary Poppins.

The children are mostly scared of her and some even get flustered around her but beneath her stern exterior is a kind heart and a woman who spends a lot of time thinking about other people.

As she is very lonely, she gets a lot of joy out of her time at school in the day. Keeping everyone at a distance means she is respected and can keep some control over her class.

Since her sister died last year, she has begun going on dates once a week. So far they have bored her or been disastrous in one way or another but that is all about to change.
